ERC Starting Grant: good newsFewer proposals submitted
Category: ERC By: Judith Zbinden
Good news for those having just submitted or will shortly submit a proposal for an ERC Starting Grant: Compared to the first call, the current call is far less over-subscribed. The ERC announced thatsome1'100 proposals were submitted to the Physical Sciences and Engineering domain (ERC news) - about a fourth of last year's amount. About the same amount of budget being available, the success rate will thus be markedly increased. Reminder: If you plan to submit to the last open domain (Life Sciences, deadline 10.12.2008) and would like to benefit from Euresearch's free prescreening service, please do send your proposal or draft thereof as soon as possible, ideally by wednesday (19 November). |
